Kerala Pilgrim Tour Package in Sabarimala
Sabarimala is a Hindu pilgrimage center located in the Western Ghat mountain ranges of Pathanamthitta District, Perunad grama panchayat in Kerala. It is the largest annual pilgrimage in world with an estimated 45–50 million devotees visiting every year.
Sabarimala is believed to be the place where the Hindu God Ayyappan meditated after killing the powerful demoness, Mahishi. Ayyappan’s temple is situated here amidst 18 hills. The temple is situated on a hilltop at an altitude of 468 m (1535 ft) above mean sea level, and is surrounded by mountains and dense forests. Temples exist in each of the hills surrounding Sabarimala. While functional and intact temples exist at many places in the surrounding areas like Nilackal, Kalaketi, and Karimala, remnants of old temples survive to this day on remaining hills.
Sabarimala is linked to Hindu pilgrimage, predominantly for men of all ages.You can identify a Sabarimala pilgrim easily as they wear black or blue dress.They do not shave till the completion of pilgrimage and smear Vibhuti or Sandal paste on their forehead.Women between the ages of 10 and 50 are not allowed to enter the temple, since the story attributed to Ayyappa prohibits the entry of the women in the menstrual age group. This is because Ayyappan is a Bramachari (Celibate). The temple is open for worship only during the days of Mandalapooja (approximately November 15 to December 26), Makaravilakku (January 14- “Makara Sankranti”) and Vishu (April 14), and the first six days of each Malayalam month.

Day 03: Kula Lampur to Genting High Lands.
After Breakfast proceed to Genting via Batua Caves and watch Factory, Reaches Genting by Cable Car, Check in Hotel. Enjoy the Outdoor theme park, Dinner and over night stay at Genting of Kula Lampur, First World Hotel.
Genting Highlands is a mountain peak within the Titiwangsa Mountains on the border between the states of Pahang and Selangor of Malaysia and is home to a famous mountain resort by the same name which can be reached by car from Kuala Lumpur in one hour. It is also accessible by the worlds fastest and South East Asia’s longest cable car called Genting Skyway (3.38km). In 2006, the resort had 18.4 million visitors. Genting Highlands was founded by the late Lim Goh Tong (Tan Sri) in the late 1960s. Currently, this resort is being lead by Lim Goh Tong’s son, Lim Kok Thay (Tan Sri) who is also the current president and CEO of Star Cruises Company.
Day 04: Genting-Kerala
After breakfast meet and transfer to Airport to take flight to Cochin International Airport. (Nedumbassery) By air.
Day 1: Cochin – Munnar
Cochin – Munnar (Tea Garden & Hill station). Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station. To Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. The day at leisure.
Day 2: Munnar
Munnar : Visit to Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars. To Marayoor to visit the Muniyaras (Caves)which dates back to the new stone age. On the way back visit the sandalwood forests and Lakkam water falls which is accessible by a short trek through the forest. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
Munnar : Morning to Top Station. Top Station offers panoramic view of the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu. Then to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and wast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. After noon at leisure.
Day 4: Munnar – Periyar
Munnar – Periyar (wild life sanctuary & Spice plantation) (120 kms/ 3 ½ hrs). By 12 noon at Thekkady. Proceed for a spice plantation tour and by evening at Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Stay in Thekkady.
Day 5: Periyar – Kumarakam
Periyar – Kumarakam (Backwaters). Drive to Kumarakam. By 12 noon check in at the backwater resort in Kumarakam. Afternoon at leisure. Evening visit the Kumarakam bird sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumarakam.
Day 6: Kumarakam – Alleppey
Kumarakam –Alleppey. Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey. By 12 noon check in at the house boat in Alleppey for a 22 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala .
